How Much Does a Custom Business Website Cost in Montreal?
Our starting prices, not a survey of the city
A search for the cost of a custom business website in Montreal returns wide ranges. We will not repeat a city-wide average. We have not run that survey, and an unsourced range would be a misleading price claim.
On our packages page, Basic Website starts at CAD $799, Website + SEO at CAD $1,499, and Website + SEO + Google Ads at CAD $2,499. Add-ons start at CAD $150. These are starting estimates in Canadian dollars. They do not include GST or QST. They are not the total payable.
What custom changes on the quote
Page count, original copy in French and English, extra forms, a store catalogue, and ongoing ads or SEO are outside the smallest package. A five-page brochure site and an online store are different jobs. We say which one a quote covers.
Before any paid work, we confirm scope, itemized price, taxes, and the total in writing. That written quote is the price. A sentence in this article is not.
How to compare two quotes
Line up the same items: number of pages, languages, revisions, who owns the site, hosting, and what happens after launch. A lower number that excludes French copy, tax, or the contact form is not the same product.
Ask which charges are mandatory. A headline price that hides fixed obligatory fees, other than taxes such as GST and QST, is a problem under the Competition Act drip-pricing rule. Our terms state that package prices exclude GST and QST and that the written quote shows the total.
